Great article! I will have to show this to a few "non-believers" so to speak who are questioning my possible plans to homeschool my 14 year old here soon and for sure plans to homeschool my younger boys (3 and 1).

It Won't Be Like This For Long

I heard a song today that really grabbed my heart. "It won't be like this for long" by Darius Rucker. It reminded me that nothing lasts for long. We should embrace and enjoy the season of life we are in right now, and the season of life each of our children are in right now. In the song he sings about his baby girl crying, as babies do,and his wife reminding him "It won't be like this for long." The reality of life is our babies grow up. They grow quickly from one stage to another. Before you kn… Continue

Warning: Do Not Tickle Your Kids!

Be careful how much you tickle your kids when they are little. When they grow bigger they are relentless. Our older 3 boys (ages 12,9,and 5) gang up on me. I start laughing before they even touch me. I try to yell and scream for help. I shout "STOP!" and threaten punishment as I back away from crazed little animals on the attack. Ready to strike with all 30 of their long claws. It's hard to take my plea's for help seriously through my… Continue

Do you have a Twitter account? What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and being a brand new mom. I am trying to find more people to follow me so that my story will help spread awareness:

Love your "work in progress" link. And thank you for the compliment about my family. I just wish they would stop growing up and leaving me darn it!!!! My husband keeps telling me I have done a fine job, which makes me think maybe if I didn't do so well the last one might stay a bit longer. LOL Just kidding. Hope you had a great day:)
