Essential Oils Real or Not?

Essential oils have been around forever, just as plants have been around forever. Essential oils have been used medicinally to kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses. They provide exquisite fragrances to balance our moods, lift our spirits, and get rid of negative emotions.

Essential oils are distilled from shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and seeds. It often takes an entire plant to produce one drop of oil. Users need to be very careful in using the oils, there are many safety precautions tha… Continue

Hello, I liked your blog. I use lavender in the rinse on my washing machine, and in my home made wipes.
We like tea tree for fungal infections and cleaning.

Welcome to Twittermoms and to Nourishing Moms. I really look forward to reading your blog! I only have 4 blessings so far, and we homeschool also.

I really enjoyed your post about essential oils. I have really overlooked oils and mainly used teas but I can see their potency may be very valuable in treating illnesses, injuries, etc. I can't live without oregano oil and tea tree oil in the house. But now I'm thinking about lavendar...... I love that fragrance! So relaxing!

Anyway, thanks for getting me thinking!

(Oh, and we have the same name, btw! I always think that is strange because it really isn't that common a name- at least where I am!)

Blessings!
