- Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens, often referred to as The Boogie Moms®, developed Boogie Wipes in 2007 as a solution for their kids’ runny, red noses. Months of market research led to the invention of the Boogie Wipe: a saline-infused wipe that soothes chapped, rough noses while dissolving mucus. After a six-month development and manufacturing process, Doney and Pickens shipped their first orders of Boogie Wipes in December, 2007. By the end of 2008, Boogie Wipes were available in 30,000 U.S. stores and sales had reached $1.2 million. Doney and Pickens project 2009 sales to hit $6 million. The brand includes Original Fresh Scent, Great Grape, and now Magic Menthol, a Boogie Wipe for grown-ups. The wipes come in 30-count packs and have a suggested retail price of $3.99. The Fresh and Grape scents are also available in handy individually wrapped packs of 10, known as Boogies on the Run™. They are ideal for backpacks, lunchboxes or purses, and have a suggested retail price of $2.99. Validation of their hardwork has been proven by appearances on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, and The Today Show, and by having their products sold in some of the biggest retailers in the U.S.; Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, and Babies R Us, just to name a few. Doney and Pickens are each mothers of three children, Mindee with Aiden (6), Avree (2), and Austin (2 months), and Julie with McKenna (13), Molly (10), and Gabby (4).

It's so good to see you on twitter. I'm still trying to get the hang of it but it's a great website. How's business going? Things have been pretty crazy around here. I had a baby girl on Feb 13th two weeks early. Her name is Camryn Logan and she's amazing. She's already 5 weeks old - it's going so fast. We definitely should catch up. Are you doing any of the baby shows this Spring?
