Hi Marin Moms,
I'm not very active on Twitter Moms. I'm going to be putting together a give away to mom bloggers on behalf of the Nut Tree (in Vacaville, CA) and wanted to know if there is a directory of California-based mom blogger groups, or a way…
Let's use this group to network, ladies! Never underestimate the power of women and moms! Do you need a sitter, or a contractor or just some good advice on mommy matters?

Nancy writes a travel column, “What a Trip” for the Contra Costa Times Lamorinda Sun, a publication of Media News Group. She is the Travel Editor at Diablo magazine and the Lodging Editor at Lodging/Uptake.com/blog. Horse lovers will find her at Writinghorseback.com. Additionally, she is a BootsnAll Insider for California and has contributed to InsideBayArea, Uptake.com and Write to Travel blogs. She is a member of Bay Area Travel Writers (BATW), BlogHer, Matador and Travelwriters.com. She also owns a public relations consulting business.
Wendy Perrin of Conde Naste Traveler’s Perrin Post would probably agree that Nancy spends way too much time reading travel blogs.
What kinds of things do you typically Twitter about?
I posted this on my What a Trip blog, but thought I would share it here for those of you who haven't had a chance to visit yet. I thought this was a very special tribute to mothers.

Hi Nancy, what a great blog about Trish and her cause! I see you are mostly a travel writer and I was hoping you could give my some advice. My girlfiend and I have decided to our kids to a small fishing/surfing town in Mexico this summer to learn spanish, lean to surf and expose them to a different culture, old-world Mexico. We are tired of sending them to expensive sports summer camps and thought it would be a nice change of pace. Anyway, we want the kids to keep journals everyday and I thought about writing or blogging about our experience there. Would you have any advice as to where to start? Thanks in advance.
