Be aware that many of raw foodist educator say that on a raw food diet you
do not need use supplements, but is not usually true.
B12 - For example researches shows that more than 50% vegans are B12
deficient.
Also you and your children might need to supplement with vitamin K2. Almost
no one knows about it and my research found that there are significant
amounts of K2 in an Asian product called Natto. Natto

DHA - "Vegans and vegetarians have markedly lower stores of DHA. Their
bodily DHA levels do not rise much even with high dietary levels of
linolenic acid. This, and features of the production and distribution of DHA
in pregnant and lactating women, indicates that DHA per se is an essential
nutrient.[23] Since DHA is made by algae, there are vegan DHA supplements
available."

My research indicates that you can obtain significant amounts of DHA from a
green vegetable/weed called Purlane (also called verdolaga, pigweed, little
hogweed, or pusley). You can easily grow purslane to get DHA for you and
kids to developing brain and improve memory.

with more omega-3s than any other leafy vegetable"
http://www.thenourishinggourmet.com/2009/09/purslane-a-mighty-weed.html "A
100-gram serving has about 300 to 400 milligrams of alpha-linolenic acid-10
times more than spinach"
"Several ancient cultures have included purslane as a part of their cuisine,
including those of Greece and Central America. Russians dry and can it for
the winter. In Mexico it is called verdolaga and is a favorite comfort
food."
"I love purslane. There is nothing like a tomato, onion and purslane salad
sparkling with unrefined olive oil and a healthy squeeze of fresh lemon
juice."
"can be great for PMS"
Remember to check library, I was very surprise how many Raw and Vegan books
are available! :-)
Much continued success,
Angela & Angelica

Thank you for sending your hello message. How are you doing? It has been some time since we connected online. I have been busy with school. I am on my last class, and will graduate November 22nd. Also, family is gearing up for our relocation. It is a year out, but with my family, you have to start these things early. We are moving out of Baltimore, MD to Charlotte, NC. In fact, I will be in Charlotte next week (19th - 26th).
What is going on with you and yours? Give me an update!
