Oh, the action around here!
I have some vague plans for my next birthday which is 9/11. Since it is a Friday this year, I am thinking about a weekend getaway to Colorscape in a neighboring county.
I don't unfollow people but I have taken to looking at who is choosing to follow me. At first, I would glance at the user name in my email notification. Now I go look at the profile and have blocked many.
Facebook - I have more friends on FB than I have followers on Twitter.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this month. The up side is that the reason I will not be around my computer is that my son's high school graduation is that night.

Book Review: 10-10-10: A Life-Transforming Idea
I have had Suzy Welch’s new book, 10-10-10: A Life-Transforming Idea (Scribner, ISBN 978-1-4165-9182-5), for a few weeks now and have been reading it diligently but knew that the review was going to get written today, whether I had my personal example for you all or not. I have had fairly steady work through one or two different companies and publications over the past five years or so. I love freelancing but with the economic downturn, it is getting harder to guarantee work or worse, guarantee payment.
