I just joined myself too. I read your profile on your little boy having reflux isn't that awful stuff!! My 5 year old daughter has had acid reflux since she was 2 1/2. She would throw up every night she eat something acidic or any kind of pasta. So it took our family a while to adjust to her very strict diet but we are working through it and over time you learn to deal with it. Well my thought go out to you not easy!! Jackie

Great to have you here! We've got an incredible group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so kick back and make yourself at home. Check out the Twittermoms groups (we have something for everybody). The Twittermoms discussions are quite entertaining, too. Or, just get to know your fellow Twittermoms by browsing some Twittermoms profiles or searching for moms who share your interests, add friends, and start twittering with some incredibly smart and interesting moms.

PS: Let your friends know when you're on twittermoms with a click of the Announce Yourself link in your welcome box. If your Twitter friends are interested, they can check out the cool new place you've found!

Again -- if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

define "normal" please

we were home all weekend long with a very sick magoo. turns out his little vomit tactic on friday was just a preview of the awesome stomach virus that he now has. our arms are broken after holding him literally for the last 4 days... his fever has gone as high as 103, which scares me, but as my mom reminds me, "it's good. it means he's fighting." i just wish he would friggin beat it already and that this fever would break because it has made jackson and me absolutely miserable.
we saw my in-laws… Continue

do we or don't we?

we have a playdate/sleepover scheduled for jackson tonight. the playdate this afternoon is with paul's cousin and her two boys, who we love and adore. the sleepover will be at paul's aunt's house tonight so that jackson can have a crib instead of a pack-n-play. they are totally doing us a solid by taking jackson, and we are so appreciative. we are having the rest of our belongings from storage delivered this afternoon, and having the uninterrupted time to complete our move will be so helpful (no… Continue

WANTED: PATIENT AND SWEET BABYSITTER

and by "sweet," i mean kick ass. i am hiring. for a babysitter. i need a life. paul and i need a life. we would like our marriage back. it's been 9 months... (ok in 3 days it'll be 9 months since jackson was born.) we're in a good place with jackson's feeding issues. i am no longer afraid to leave him with a babysitter. and it wasn't that i was afraid for jackson, for his safety, that the babysitter wouldn't "do it" the way that mom can "do it." no. i feared for the babysitter... that she/he wou… Continue

parenting 101?

mom sent me an article from the ajc the other day, and interestingly enough, it came on the day that i posted about marriage vs motherhood. this article was (i thought) touching on some similar aspects, but after doing some research on the author of this piece, i find myself with more questions pertaining to my original... which is more difficult, being married or being a parent?
i would love to find a link to this article that i have, but i can't find it in the archives as i have no date for th… Continue
