Amy - awesome product! If I still pushed a stroller, I'd be into that one! It's funny, but over the years, there have been a few times when I said "This would be a great idea to sell to other moms like me" but just didn't take the next step. You d...
Angeline, Your life in LA sounds really interesting, especially for us lifers in the Midwest! Living in Wisconsin, I also have the beautiful Lake Michigan to take advantage of. Sometimes it is so beautiful it takes my breath away. I'm sure you're ...
Alice, I just read all of your blogs in one sitting. I gave the kids some Color Wonder markers to keep them happy and plowed through them all. What an adventure your life is! You've seen more than 99% of the population ever will. I can only imagin...
Alice, I hadn't discovered you until this TMOTW and now I certainly intend to go back and read about your travels. I think it's wonderful that you've had some incredible journeys around Europe, but I'm sure you'll find that your new home life is a...
Rachel,
It's been so fun to see Lea on facebook...great to now see you here on Twitter. This is a new network for me, just figuring it all out.
I got to San Fran via San Diego and Arizona...went to college at UW-LaCrosse (after a short stint in Madison). Married a fabulous guy I met in San Diego - we have 2 kids, Emerson (Emmy, 4) and Benjamin, 15 mos. I'm in the throws of it with the baby -- random sleeping, teething, etc. Plus we just relocated, so all is intense right now. My folks and Katie were in San Diego too, so I had a great network of support there. Now we're all alone! How old are your kids? And, when do you have time to do your master's program? I haven't even showered yet today! Ugh!
Hi Rachel,
I loved reading your story and loved even more that you took initiative to make yourself happier! Sounds like you have more then found your groove and the life you have seems amazingly rewarding! Good for you and congrats on being selected for TMOTW! PS - Maybe I will try my hand at cake decorating too??? :)

I am a SAHM of two great kids, ages 5 and 3 1/2. I used to be a teacher and look forward to doing that again someday soon. I am president of my local chapter of MOMS Club, which keeps me really busy. I love it and I get to do lots of great charity work, which makes me happy. I also am my daughter's room mom for her 3K classroom. I get to organize class parties and do fun stuff for the teachers. I also volunteer at my kids' school on the auction committee, soliciting donations from the teachers to raffle off to the students. All in all, I am very busy and very satisfied with my life in Wisconsin!
