- I am a mom with two young children and I have recently become unemployed.
I have two home businesses that I have been working on slowly for a little while now and I had been hoping to be able to work at home exclusively and be with my kids more by the end of 2009.
Now I find myself job hunting and working my businesses at the same time. I would love to be able to just work the businesses but as a lot of you know southern California is expensive and I am realistic that I cannot replace my income overnight.

How did you (an Aussie) end up in California?
