I'm a big city girl making her way in small town America. I was going to move to a city, marry well, send my laundry out, order in and have the maid in once a week to do all the yucky chores that I detest.
Instead I find myself living in a “town” so small it’s called a village, we don’t have anywhere you can order in here even if you want to and unless you count my kids actually picking up after themselves once a year, there is not cleaning service of any kind. But oh - that man of mine and the way he makes my heart skip just by walking into a room…) At least I got one of thing right.
Just started homeschooling our 5yo this past fall and have fallen in love with the Charlotte Mason approach. After teaching public school for 5 years, I knew I didn't want to go with a traditional textbook curriculum. So after studying lots of dif...

We do English, Maths, ICT, Chemistry ...
We are eclectic. My goal is to dual enroll at the community college when she is old enough. She is 13 so we have some time but the time will go so fast! She is doing Algebra 1, World History, Biology, Spanish, Language Arts. She's in a Teen Leader...

Yeah Lorelai is my given name, but most people call me Lora, for some reason my Mother thought Lorelai would be too hard to spell in kindergarten. However, I am a huge fan of the girlmore girls ;-) and I do play off that a bit when I write my blog, just to protect the innocent...lolol
We have 7 all together most are teenagers, but two little boys. We have a great time with friends running in and out of the house etc.
Fellow Twittermoms ... I am a contestant in this season's Blogging Idol and I could really use your help.
To win Blogging Idol I must earn the most points during the month of November ... and I can earn points in 3 ways: (1) the most new RSS subscribers to my blog, (2) the most votes by the readers, and (3) voting by 3 judges ... judged on the most creative/clever way to add RSS subscribers.
I would appreciate your support in any way possible.
You could subscribe to my Money Making Ideas blog through my RSS Feed (if you don't know what that is or don't know how I've written a post here).
You can vote once the voting begins (November 17th).
You can help me with creative ideas on how to get new RSS subscribers so that I might impress one of the judges.
I appreciate your support ... in fact, to show you that I'm offering a spot in my upcoming online class, "Blogging for Bucks BootCamp" ($297 value) if you'll subscribe to my RSS feed.
If you blog about my quest to win and link to http://www.suzannefranco.com/suzanne-franco-the-newest-blogging-idol I will also add your business to my Sponsor Directory.
Thanks for any and all support ... it means the world to me! *SmiLes* Suzanne
