Hi there Rhonda,
It's Monday.....again! Just wanted to wish you the best week ever. This week the kids have 2 days off from school and the baby has a rash and is cranky and.......the beat goes on. But through it all, God is good and HE alone is on the throne of my heart! Many blessings on your day. May God show you who He is in your life today in a really special way. Much love in Christ.

It's amazing how the spirit leads us to those with like minds. I am always in awe of the awesomeness of God. You absolutely blessed my day as well with your encouraging words. We are in a battle like never before and we as believing women of the most high need to stand in the gap for those we love and those we may not even know yet. It's always a blessing to me to find women who will stand arm in arm with me in the battles of life. Praying for you and our new friendship. God bless!

I love your photos! So much fun. I'd like to talk to you about being a contributor for Homeschool Bliss at Blissfully Domestic. I didn't see an email on your site so I'm leaving a comment here. Let me know if you'd be interested.

A little about yourself...
Still married to my high school sweetheart, I am a homeschooling mother of nine, by day, and a weekly newspaper columnist, speaker and freelance writer by night (actually, really early morning before anyone is up—but it’s still dark out, so that counts.)

With a growing population of grandchildren (14 the last time I counted) I care deeply about the social, political and parenting issues that are shaping the family in our post-modern culture.

Although we only have two children left to raise, our home has now taken on new life as our daughter and her family (one husband and five children) moved into our old farm house and filled our empty rooms. The plan, to share living expenses, become debt free, and build a new "Grandma house" next door.
What kinds of things do you typically Twitter about?
my life, mom stuff, writing, politics, gardening, homeschooling
What are your areas of interest?
blogging, home & garden, special needs children, social media, twitter, work-at-home, politics, religion, writing

Is the sword of the spirit refined by fire?

A young mother stood up in church and asked for prayer.

She explained that she had been suffering with pain in her arm, just months away from graduating college; she faced a diagnosis that could not only force her to drop out of school, but permanently disable her. A… Continue

Mother knows best--intuitively

It didn’t take long for me to realize, that there truly is such a thing as a mother’s intuition. It did, however, take a long time for me to learn to trust it.

Last week a close friend called to tell me how it saved her grandson’s life.

With only 25 weeks to grow in the protection of… Continue

What makes a good mother?

Is a good mother the one who stays home with her children? Is it one willing to work long hours so her children will have a chance to go to college? Is she the soccer mom who diligently sees to it that her children are successful in sports and school activities?

Is the role of motherhood so narrowly defined that we can boil it down to what she does or does not do?
To some degree we are all defined by what we do. But isn’t… Continue
