I've done crayons one year. You can get travel packs in the party favors section. Hobby Lobby has a great party supply section with 20 cent "prizes" that would be perfect for Halloween.

I found the neatest thing at a flower shop today called wax pottery. They were like ball candles without the wicks and had leaves, shells, and other natural things melted into the wax and they smelled beautiful. I'd love to make those.

Last year, I crocheted everyone scarves and it was a big hit. I even had requests for more. This year, I made a few record bowls for the men in the family. It's really easy. You can google for great tutorials.
