Oh, the action around here!

Hi Ayani, The Writer's Marketis a good place to start, but you might want to get a copy of the Christian Writer's Market Guide it is more specific to your needs and will probably be a bit more helpful for you. ~Linda

I'm with Pauline. With my kids out of the house, it seems harder to be disciplined. I am really trying to change that though and am working on setting myself a minimum goal for each day. As far as my husband goes, I have come to the realization th...

So glad you liked the write lab, Linda :) I'm off balance at the moment so have only used it once more since the 20th. Planning to find my way to a regular Write or Die session. My daughter and I are creating a fun system for motivating ourselves right now. Perhaps it will help others later.

Do you think you'll use it just when you want to jump start a specific project? Or what? I would like to develop the habit of writing daily.

Blessings!

Thank you, Linda, and yes, I've tried the Write or Die two days now and then missed two or three days. Would love to get in the grove of daily. And if you decide to use it regularly, would love to go with a short term buddy system.

It was much harder than I figured it would be the first time. Don't know why I was all thumbs, even tho I'm normally lightning fast. Second time was easier and I'd certainly like to see this turn into an upward trend :)

DO let me know how it goes for you, I look forward to hearing.

Blessings!

Oooh, the idea of freewrite hadn't occurred to me, but that sure can get interesting, can't it?
Hoping for a chance to use the app this evening, while dh and dd are gone to a meeting.

Will let you know how it goes for me, and look forward to hear how it turns out for you.

DD (15 1/2) needs on here, she's going after a writing position on a game site
(not sure what you call those) and wants to get her application turned in now.

Blessings!

Look forward to hearing from you on it. My thought is to use the Write or Die on some articles and blog pieces I've been putting off. What about for you?

Blessings!

I'm getting ready to try it out. My daughter used it quite successfully (made a HUGE difference for her during NanoWriMo and moved her past her writer's block) for her novel last November. I thought it might help for non-fic as well.

Wanna try it with me? Ck it out and let me know :) http://lab.drwicked.com/writeordie.html

Blessings!

Thank you :) I can relate. I appreciate my son's phone chats. The difference is that I'm the one in California :)

Are you familiar with the online application Write or Die?

Blessings!
