A little about yourself...: I'm a transplanted Yankee, living in the south and loving it! I'm a SAHM to seven children and married almost two decades. I'm interested in sewing, health, exercise and collecting Himstedts.

I began sewing when my second daughter was born. I had become a stay at home mom and was looking for a creative outlet. I was jealous of the costumes my sister-in-law was sewing for my niece and nephew. I wanted to try my hand at it. I enjoyed making the costumes and decied to make my two daughter's Christmas dresses. I eventually had four daughters and loved making them matching dresses for holidays. I sewn some of their every day wear when I found a lot of the tween clothing to be to old for them. I had a sewing business creating special ocassion dresses for little girls. I stopped sewing when it grew to big and everybody's little girls but mine were wearing my creations. My girls eventually out grew mommy made clothing. I had three sons and found it hard to sew for them. It wasn't quite as exciting. Then a friend introduced me to a friend who was looking for somebody to sew her PlayPal dolls some dresses. I became interested in collecting dolls and sewing for them. I draft a lot of my own patterns and create outfits for my "girls".
