hey there i thinki would just be inclined to tell you daughter that if the man approaches her to walk away but to tell you if he does, i dont see the point in tell her what he has done as maybe that would make her uneasy, and always unsure when out…

It's lovely when they start to try solids. 20wks shouldn't be too bad at time to start her off and she obviously enjoyed it. Mine liked the rice and then went on to mashed banana with fromage frais or yoghurt.

Hubby away, kids forgot to give me card & choccies and I didn't get a lie in! However, I thought about whether it was better to celebrate Mothering Sunday by being pampered or to use the day to remember all those little things us mothers do and why…

It should be a personal preference. In some EU countries, it IS rude to call someone by their firstnames, which is for family and friends.

Funnily enough I was talking with my friend (we're both 41) about whether we would want any more children at our age - we decided no as we couldn't keep up. Never considered grandchildren! How about taking him to children's play areas (indoor & out…

I am a single mommy but I always get called Mrs Rudall as people assume that because I have a child I must be married!!! I always correct them and to be honest sometimes I do get some funny looks, even i this day and age. I even opened my son's chil…

Oh my! What will they think of to spend our taxes on next?! Personally I hate it when people I don't know use my first name when addressing me without being invited to do so, it goes something like "that's Mrs Wood to you". Although it's not as terr…

Well it doesn't surprise me! These EU MP's are being paid such high wages for doing very little including this. It's a disgraceful waste of public money. They'll be renaming our Queen next.... from Ms Anne

I like your list. I may have to "steal" it. Well maybe I should say "borrow" it as steal is such nasty word. LOL

Have a great day Sharon.

No haven't fixed up the website. I printed out all the pages and that is about as far as I got. Life took over. Maybe next week. I have so many things that I want to do that sometimes I don't know what to do so i do nothing. Not productive I know. I do better with a list of things to do. I get more done that way.

Thanks Sharon. I'll have to sharpen my skills back up for HTML and CSS. I did learn those but since I have not been using them for a few months I'm a bit rusty.

Have a great day!

Hi Sharon. I have some experience in web design but did not get to finish my degree. I will have to check out your website. What would you say are the basic languages or programs to know for web design?

A little about yourself...
Oh gosh, erm wife, mother, web designer & writer. Not necessarily in that order.
I returned to university as a 'mature' student (in age not attitude) and have recently started my own business provide website design and maintenance etc for SMEs, groups and individuals. I love my work but hate the finance/business side lol.
I have two children - son, 13 and daughter, 11 going on 21 :-) They are the main focus of my life as I am all too aware of how little 'mom' time I have left before they grow up. My husband is an entertainer who is looking to change careers into being a pub landlord.
I like gadgets, messing with computers and other techie stuff so I guess that meakes me the geek-in-training in our family (my brother is the Geek Lord).
For relaxation I read sci-fi/fantasy mainly but I do try to widen my scope with other genres that take my fancy. I also listen to rock music (I'd say I was a rock chick but I'm really more of a rock hen nowadays) and really turn it up loud when I am in the car if only to drown out my singing. To blow off steam I shoot aliens on my PS3 - 40th birthday present and very much appreciated!
What kinds of things do you typically Twitter about?
my business & life and fun or interesting stuff
What are your areas of interest?
business, blogging, technology, social media, twitter, work-at-home, gaming, writing
