Oh, the action around here!
Ok my cub scout friends! Being the mom of three scouts in all different branches and the wife of a cubmaster, I found myself losing more paperwork than anything and forgetting dates etc.
So...I built a website, back in my old life, the real world...

there are other ways to volunteer if you are concerned that being a co leader would be to much. And it could be with a baby in the house right now. You could volunteer to help with a specific activity or buy the snacks for the pack mee...
A google search will turn up tons of finished clapotis' (clapoti? ;) ) There was a knitalong in the knitting blog world too.
I love it. It looks like a lot of fun and quite a challenge. I think I may try this one!
Pinewood derby is Friday for my pack. I am in charge of the food yet again...To bad it so cold out...I dont want to go shopping! :)

Husbands....
Husband takes the day off of work. Then proceeds to yell at the kids in the morning....actually telling them to be quiet etc. I inform him he cannot yell at them before school.
His response...that is all you have been doing all morning. Um EXCUSE ME??? I am ENTITLED to yell at the little monsters. I deal with them every morning.
Get up
Get dressed
Make your bed
Eat your oatmeal and like it
Pack your backpack
Make lunches
Brush your hair
Brush your teeth(I dont think anyone did that this mornin… Continue

Feeling old
Today I was out at the store with my youngest. It made me realize how much I miss something. Remember when we had babies, or toddlers who were just so damn cute. Strangers would smile at us, say, how cute, coo at the kids.
I realize that the age of 5 is not cute anymore. They just are there.
Perhaps we all just need that look and smile once in a while...to remind us that we did something right.
