- Being a mom in 2009 is a full-time, challenging job! Not only are we faced with normal, day-to-day parenting; but the bull and bear have thrown us for a financial loop! How do we continue to nurture our families generously on a, let’s just say, “less than generous” budget?? Is it even possible or am I dreaming (as my husband would say! Lol)?? This question has been on my mind for a while and has given me the opportunity to hone my creativity and research skills. After months and months….. okay, let’s be honest, and lots more months, I am now working part-time from home and I am saving more on household items; thus being able to purchase more (who would pass up more food and shopping??) for my family. And, I am not done! Every day, I am looking for more opportunities to be a “sophisticatedly green mom”. If you are a modern mom, then read on to find out how to keep your chic family in the green.
