Hi there - I am new to this section of Twitter and fairly new to Twitter, just getting to know my way around.
My Twitter address is http://twitter.com/suescheff - follow me! I love finding parenting articles- especially involving parenting teens ...
Do you write for kids? Do you write for adults? Fantasy? Fiction? History? Let's face it, you write alone, but you don't have to be alone. Let's support each other.
Author and Parent Advocate. I enjoy helping parents with at risk teens. Learn from my mistakes - gain from my knowledge! I am also an Advocate for Cyber Safety - after winning a landmark case for Internet Defamation and Invasion of Privacy, I am diligently working towards change in legislation.
My first book, Wit's End! Advice and Resources for Saving Your Out-of-Control Teen was published in July 2008 by HCI. Check it out at http://witsendbook.com
My next book will be out in Sept 2009 (HCI) - Google Bomb- The Untold Story of the $11.3M Verdict that Changed the Way we Use the Internet - this will be an explosive book - no pun intended. For everyone and anyone that uses social networking or the Internet - it is a must read. http://googlebombbook.com

Haha! I have NO IDEA if I have a twitter account, or not! Did you have to do something 'special' to get one? (Grinning sheepishly, here!) I'm learning, but it's a slow process! Have a great evening, Sue.
Good morning, and thanks for getting back to me so promptly. I COMPLETELY understand, too. :o) I should have thought of Kara... she asked me to do the very same thing on HER website! So I'll give her a holler. Thanks so much, and BREATHE! I'll check in with you next time around. :o)
Just a quickie! I wondered if you would be interested in writing a short article/comment about bullying for a new blog that a writer friend of mine has started. He's interested in getting a dialogue started about bullying, and I'm helping out. As a parent advocate, you have a unique perspective. I'm hoping to get Vanessa to write from the perspective of a teen, and Robin as the mother of a child with a facial deformity. What do you think? Do you mind? Perhaps 500-600 words, nothing too lengthy, so we keep readers' attentions. Although, I'd rather have you write as long as you want to, than have you feel stifled by any constraints. I value your words, my friend! (And, if you've already got something written that will fit, that would be fine, too!) You can email me at roomtomove@tds.net if you'd like. And you can check out the new blog at http://jackramsay.blogspot.com/ to ease your mind of any concerns you might have. (I've checked the bloke out! Hehe. Actually, he's one of the best friends I've ever had, so I can vouch for him.)
Thanks, and have a great...sheesh! I guess it's morning, now! :o)
Good morning! I'm looking forward to learning and contributing! My biggest set-back will be the dial-up I have at home... I simply don't have the time to stare at a loading computer screen! (So, I'm cheating by peeking at the page while I'm at work. Hehe. Good thing I'm the 'boss' here, huh?) I'll check back in after getting caught up here at the office. Ta. Karen
Seems like a great way to connect with parents. My kids are in the 20's and (thankfully) successfully living their own lives. But as a parent educator and a teen author, I'm hoping I can be of some help here.
Great to have you here! We've got an incredible group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so kick back and make yourself at home. Check out the Twittermoms groups (we have something for everybody). The Twittermoms discussions are quite entertaining, too. Or, just get to know your fellow Twittermoms by browsing some Twittermoms profiles or searching for moms who share your interests, add friends, and start twittering with some incredibly smart and interesting moms.
PS: Let your friends know when you're on twittermoms with a click of the Announce Yourself link in your welcome box. If your Twitter friends are interested, they can check out the cool new place you've found!
Again -- if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.
