Young mothers need a lifeline. That lifeline is often a local playgroup. Many moms go from working outside the home to staying at home with no preparation or training! These play groups help us bond with others in the same situation and they give us a reason to put on a clean shirt. The kids play on the floor while the moms usually stand around having a cup coffee. Some of us are hoping to learn the secret to being a perfect mom and some are just grateful for a safe haven to have adult conversat…
