Oh, the action around here!

Oh, boys are great, aren't they?! My son is 4 and a half now, and since he was about 3, we had to remind him *not* to put his hands down his pants to play with it constantly. He still does it occasionally. I think you are doing all the right thin...

Hi Terri! My little guy is 14 months old. I also lived in Maryland for 3 years but am originally from Utah. What do you do for fun with your boys? I'm trying to find some fun things to do during the winter.

Hi! I see you sell Partylite and I wanted to let you know about a my husband just set up a website to help direct-selling and at-home-party consultants - anyone in the industry of multi-level and working to create a downline. The site is http://www.asseenonmlm.com and the focus is allowing members to upload their pitches/promos via videos, groups, pictures, and more (it's set up on ning, so it will look very similar to the TwitterMoms website).

Please stop by and let us know your thoughts. It's just getting started so if you get on board early you have a chance to start groups for your business and get the conversation started. We'll be starting a couple membership drive contests soon (anyone already signed up will be involved in that).

Best,
Nikki

My MLM "Why"

Why did I start with MLM (multi level marketing)? There are a lot of reasons. First and foremost, it was the money. We didn't need it to survive, but we were planning for a second child at the time. We already had one in daycare, and the thought of having two daycare payments was positively terrifying. I figured I could earn some extra money and payoff a debt or two before the second one came along.

Second, it was the product. I love the product! I had been a hostess for this direct sales compa… Continue

Caring for Candles

Most people love to burn candles or decorate with them in their home. But did you know that you have to actually take care of your candles to get the most out of them and have them burn properly? Here are a few tips:

1. Trim your wicks. The wick on a candle should never be more than 1/4" long. Cut them before each time you burn the candle. If you burn the candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time and the wick looks really long, put the candle out, wait for the wax to harden, and trim the wick. T… Continue

Selling Myself

So I've figured out that what I'm selling with my Direct Sales business is really ME. The shows I do best at are the ones where I am myself, and I really show how much I know about candles and the products, AND how much I love what I'm doing. I get tons of sales at those shows and usually some bookings. BUT--the bookings ran out when I took a few months off for the birth of my son. So now, I'm back at square one.

I've built a very basic website--- www.goldinContinue
