I had a couple friends wanting me to explain shirring to them so I was trying to figure out if it was worth it to do a video or photo tutorial. Could anyone use a tutorial on how to shir? (on fabric)
I often use shirring not only on dresses and tops but find it useful to replace elastic casing on baby and childrens wear.
You can often do the edge of your fabric with a rolled hem and then do 2 rows of shirring in place of the casing, this creates a softer and more comfortable leg opening for bab…
