I write short stories and poetry. I "won" National Novel Writing Month where the goal is to complete a 50,000 word novel in the month of November with my book (draft) "Soul Jumpers) I have two teenage children.

I joined! Now I am challenged to write 50, 000 words in the 30 days of November. Crazy huh? It's also fun and exhilarating. I write while the kids are in school. So far I have 19, 326 words. I'm a little ahead, which is good for those days ahead when it is going to be difficult, if not impossible to get away to write. Here is my progress widget. It stays almost a day behind, but it does update as I go along.
You can view my cover art on my site on Gather. I'm using it as my personal icon. There is also a full sized version in the post entitled "I signed up for National Novel Writing Month" My kids were the models. Thank goodness those teenagers are good for something, right? :D
I did it! I finished the first draft of my 50, 000 word novel and "won" NaNoWriMo! I'm so psyched! Now It's all about the editing.
