Oh, the action around here!

I am a mom of four daughters (21, 19, 17 and 14) Over the years I have learned that it is important to be a mom to your daughter and not a best friend because how does a “best friend” discipline? How does that work? You can't try and be a best fri...

Denna, thank you so much for your kind message about my "bliss" blog entry and especially for your friend request. I have bookmarked your blog ~ as you could probably tell, peace and meditation would clearly have a positive impact on my ability to locate the car keys! ♥

Hi Denna,
Thanks so much for the friend request. i have just spent 20 minutes looking at your website and reading your blog. I absolutely LOVE what you are up to and the messages you are sharing. Your meditations are beautiful and I will be sharing them with clients and friends. I also loved what you wrote about "Be the Change" - it's one of my favorite quotes, and I have written about it myself. I do a lot of work with moms of girls around food, eating and body image, and one of my main messages to the moms is: Be The Change You Wish To See in your Daughter.
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you better. Thanks for connecting!
Warmly,
Karen

Hi Denna,
Very cool about your DVD! I have not seen him in person, but I have read a little of his works. Lots of wisdom! I have been communicating since I was very young, but it has really come into full bloom in past 10 years. Last year, I took a mediumship course with Doreen Virtue, which really set things into fast forward! I love doing mediumship because of the healing. It is just another way, another tool, that we can use to heal ourselves and others as we continue down our path. :)

Hi, Dena! We started with soy, but discovered that it is actually inferior as far as holding a rich scent 'all the way down', so now it's a natural blend of vegetable waxes, etc.

Have you read Campbell's Mythic Image?

Blessings!

Oh, I love Braden's stuff, too! I agree about Victor Frank's book. And about not watching the news. And with just about everything on your blog! And you've got me very curious about Mythic Journey :)

Blessings!

Dr. Felf in his book, "The Role of Horticulture in Human Well-Being and Social Development", states that exposure to nature settings produces significant recovery from stress in physical measurements such as blood pressure and muscle tension. I can vouch for that!

One of my very favorite things to do is to go hiking with my two over-grown labador retrivers, Eli & Bogart, at a nearby park. It is a great place to get in touch with nature. There are many different hiking trails for several mil… Continue

Don't Die with Your Song Still in You!

It really doesn’t matter who you are, how old or young you are or what occupation you have, the one thing most of us have in common is our desire to be more, to do more, and to follow our dreams. For most of us, unfortunately, the closest we will ever get to following our dreams is in our dreams! So, what makes the difference? Why are some people following their dreams, singing their songs, living their lives to the fullest and some aren’t? Is it luck? Is it talent? Is it simply being in the rig… Continue

Exercise... Joyous?

Exercise can be joyous! Any dreaded task can be joyous if you approach it with a playful attitude. Think back to when you were a child. Do you remember what if felt like to be playful? It feels happy, innocent, creative, free and light-hearted. Find the physical exercise that at least halfway appeals to you whether it is cycling, swimming, hiking, aerobic dance, etc. and approach it with a playful attitude. With a playful attitude, you will look forward to experiencing the joy you derive from re… Continue
