- My name is Vanina Joulin-Batejat, and I am CEO of Baby Haute Couture, a designer and manufacturer of baby apparel. I am from France and recently relocated to North Carolina. My vision is to bring European products and styling to the US market with a focus on babies, which is important for me since I have a two-year old son and a eight months old daughter. Baby Haute Couture has been successful with higher end boutique stores, and we are also interested in working with the hospital gift shop market.
My wearable baby blanket—also known as a baby sleeping bag—has been a common product in Europe for over 30 years and is emerging in the US market. The wearable blanket can replace loose bedding in the baby’s crib which can cover the baby’s face and interfere with breathing, reducing the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). In addition, the wearable blanket is stylish, coming in different colors and designs, making it a great accessory and gift for newborns and children up to the age of 36 months.
For an additional charge, we can also monogram the baby’s name onto the outfit, again adding to the value of this unique gift.
