Father Kills Son Because He Didn't Want to Pay Child Support

I started writing about Ja'Shawn Powell yesterday when I first heard he was missing, but I suspected, as did others, that his father, Danny Platt, 22, had killed the 2-year-old. Parenting Advice on Sexting: Yes, it's those naked cheerleaders again.

Did you hear about the cheerleaders from Brothell High School in Washington state who sent naked pics of themselves to their boyfriends' cell phones? They were dismissed from the squad. Their parents have filed a lawsuit against the school system.

One adolescent psychology expert has declared that parents should not let their teens have cell phones with cameras. Do you agree? Read here.

Hi Mrs. Verite. I'm also from Louisiana.(New Iberia). I love what u wrote. I have a two kids that always went to pravite school. The school have most white kids and that is all my kids be with.I don't want my kids to every for get where they came from. So I tell them all the time don't look at white or black but look at the person from the inside. How they do. They have friends that are black an white. U know that every praents don't look at what u look at. In which do should but all we can do is write bout and hope they read it.
