Oh, the action around here!

Our book trailer operates more like a micro-film; we hired a production company to do it. While it is very difficult for a book trailer that does not have unique elements to go viral (humor, singing, zombies), ours got us into a Huffington Post arti…

Dear Wendy, I think your trailer is great. It made me very interested in your book. I say "Yes" to good trailers. I did one for my book, The Truth (I'm a girl, I'm smart and I know everything). Check it out on the front page of www.enchantedself.com.

I think that all advertisements, if done well can work. The ultimate goal is to pique the readers interest in the book and this trailer definitely does that. I enjoyed it.

I'm not a fan of trailers, but this one was very good. It was short and that's a big thing. I won't watch anything more than 45 seconds. I have to say it made me curious about the book. I mean curious enough to want to find out more and that's the g…

WOW! Beautiful trailer! Did you do it yourself? Awesome!

Hi Wendy! Most trailers won't get readers to buy/read a book, but a good one will pique curiosity and get them to look into it further. That's important, too! But a bad trailer will definitely turn readers off... That said, I think you did a great…

Book trailers are fairly new idea and I for one love them. This is the second book trailer I have viewed. I think it may take some getting used to, but will catch on quickly. It does really help promote the book. Looks great!

I thought it was superb....it sparked my interest.

I enjoy trailers as an art form, always like to take a look at what methods people use to create them. But as a reader and children's book reviewer, I decide about a book by reading the blurb, trusted reviewer comments, and most importantly, an exce…

Yep it does.

Wendy, Book trailers are a great vehicle to generate publicity for a book. I have one for my book and I think in this media age more people would rather watch than necessarily read. I think a book trailer, especially one like this, will generate a…

Wendy - I have never seen a book trailer before - that is awesome. I am an avid reader and finally have a bit of time to do it again now that the kids are just a tiny bit more independent. Your trailer definitely piqued my interest!! I am always sea…

I am so on the fence about the added value of different PR on the web. What do you blogging women think about this type of book trailer to spark interest in a novel? Thanks! Social Lives Trailer

I really need feedback from moms on this book trailer. Does it make you want to read the book? I'm really feeling my way around the added value of PR these days. Thanks! Social Lives Trailer

Hi Wendy, I'm still v interested in learning how to reach blogger/book reviewers. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. My book, 'Even the eyebrows' is only getting limited editorial as I'm an unknown writer, but I've always believed the Internet is my best marketing tool PROVIDING I can contact the bloggers. I'm based in the UK, but I shouldn't think that would make a difference.

Hi Wendy, thanks for posting your interview with Lori. It was really interesting, and I've emailed her about reviewing my mystery, Fatal Encryption.

All the best,
