Dear Wendy, I think your trailer is great. It made me very interested in your book. I say "Yes" to good trailers. I did one for my book, The Truth (I'm a girl, I'm smart and I know everything). Check it out on the front page of www.enchantedself.com.
I think that all advertisements, if done well can work. The ultimate goal is to pique the readers interest in the book and this trailer definitely does that. I enjoyed it.

Hi Wendy! Most trailers won't get readers to buy/read a book, but a good one will pique curiosity and get them to look into it further. That's important, too! But a bad trailer will definitely turn readers off...

Book trailers are fairly new idea and I for one love them. This is the second book trailer I have viewed. I think it may take some getting used to, but will catch on quickly. It does really help promote the book. Looks great!
