- A little about yourself...
- I used to be a corporate slave but now running my own consultancy business from home. I specialise in internet marketing as a freelance marketing consultant. I gave up my fulltime work which requires travelling in the region to spend more time with my 2 young children aged 7 and 10. So far, it's been the best decision I have made.
I enjoy my time with the family tremendously and am very contented with life as is. I am blessed with wonderful children who are extremely bright and lovable.
My significant other is a commercial airline pilot, he travels most of the time, not his fault. He's the love of my life and my best friend. We've been married for 11 blissful years.
Sometimes there are struggles because raising children, running a household fulltime, working freelance, doing volunteer work and keeping an active social life at the same time is not as easy as it seems. :)

- Paw chai dai (appropriate answer that modestly says, 'oh, enough to get by on'. I got by just fine :)
Since I was already in my 30's when I went there, could never be like a native Thai, ha! But definitely influenced. I'll never be the same :) My kids are SO 'Thai', though. My first 4, anyway. Oddly enough, not the one that was born there.

- Sounds like you have both good fortune (friends and biz contacts) as well as wisdom as to priorities when taking on your projects.
Do you get involved locally, too? I was in rural Thailand for 13 yrs. Got quite involved there :) Have been back in the US since 2000.
