- Just found your message at The Organized Moms group. We're also renting a small place while building a house. I recommend you to invest in good shelving system. The higher the better. It will help you get rid of clutter. You can use top shelves for things you don't need very often and lower shelves for stuff you use on a daily basis.
I also like sorting my things before I find place for them. First sorting is: 1. KEEP, 2. THROW AWAY, 3. GIVE AWAY/DONATE. Then throw away stuff to be thrown away, take out stuff to be donated and keep sorting stuff that you want to keep. You can sort by rooms (kitchen, office, etc.), by purpose (cloth, office supplies, fun stuff, etc.) or by use (daily, weekly, seasonal, etc.)
