A Great Mother's Day

I had a really enjoyable Mother's day yesterday. My son made me Breakfast and gave me a handmade card with lovely words in. Whilst my daughter made me a delicious Dinner and also took me out for some coffee and cake in our local garden centre. With the sun shining and my 2 children to share it with I had a really nice day. I hope everyone else also enjoyed theirs too?

PAM WAS FANTASTIC

Hi everybody.Just wanted to tell you all what a great show Pam Ayres gave on Sunday night. She's still just as funny as i remember her to be. Her show lasted 2 hrs and she stood all that time (and she's in her 60's). Afterwards I met her at the booksigning,shook her hand and told her how much she'd inspired me to write comic verse also. She was a very humble lady and thanked me.We even had our photo taken together. one for the album! A night I won't forget in a hurry.

Pam Ayres the poet

Hi everyone
I'm off to see a great show tomorrow by the famous modernday English comedy poet -Pam Ayres.I've followed her work for years and she's the one that inspired me to start writing my own comic verse.It's nice to get to see the lady at last after all these years.She'll be appearing here in Norwich, England at the Theatre Royal.
