Set up a 'home gym' if you can. You can purchase a jump rope, a stability ball, some free weights (5-10 pounds) and a few ex. videos pretty inexpensively. Work out while baby naps or is doing tummy time. Do some cardio to warm up (jump rope), then...

There are so many different options that you can do! I have an at home workout that only requires a medicine ball or one dumbell. I will attach it. I also have an online ebook that you can do right at home, and you can adapt it to suite your needs...

I don't do winter either!!! The older I get the more painful cold becomes. What do you hate more - the cold or the weight? Gyms and hence going outside are not required - unless you are like me and won't work out at home!! ;) Many gyms have free...

I am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate turn of events. This guy sounds like a dead beat and I know exactly what you are going through. Don't allow yourself to be treated like extra luggage or and old pair of shoes that he is tired of wearing...
