Thanks for the opportunity. I write a food blog that deals with cooking for a toddler, cooking through a difficult pregnancy, eating local and enjoying life. I strive for lovely pictures and good writing.

I can't say i have the answer, but I do think that when I get emails about other peoples blog posts it turns me off. I like the facebook and twitter updates though I mostly rely on RSS feeds for my blog reading.

I can't say I know the answer. But, I do find it a bit of a turnoff when I get emails from other bloggers about their updates. I rely solely on RSS feeds to keep up with other blogs. I think emails can be intrusive.

I have a food blog called http://feedingmaybelle.blogspot.com about cooking for my growing family (2 year old and 8 mos pregnant). We eat a great deal of local food, some complicated, some simple.

Stuffed Shells because it makes enough for several meals, especially if you have a small family. Chicken Tetrazini - a family favorite that freezes well. Taco soup, make a big batch and freeze the extras. All of these are on my blog.
