i found myself criticizing a woman the other day who had to pull her son out of kindergarten. she said she couldn't get him in bed before midnight, and that she was not able to get up in the morning to get him to school. i thought to myself what a challenged mommy she is, to let her kids bounce off the walls (and watch A LOT of t.v.) until all hours of the night.

not sure why i do this to myself - if i make a playdate, suddenly i find myself making three for the same day. not a good move. for today, i put myself in the unique position of having breakfast with a long lost friend at 9 a.m., having my 2 year old "dedicated" at our church at 11:45, and going out to lunch with my mom at 1. not to mention going back to church at 5:30 p.m. the clock is ticking and the baby girl is still fast asleep - she does this to me, you know. she gets up at 6:30 every day,… Continue

wow - my first anonymous blog page!

i'm moving into this century, as old fashioned as i am and as young as i feel, i'm starting to realize how obsolete a mother of two can become.

thankfully, my kids are 5 and 2, able to open the fridge by themselves and don't need me by their side at every waking moment. now is the time to figure out this MP3 thing, start listening to music again, maybe watch a movie...with my husband. and twitter.
