Hope you had a nice week. I know many of us are getting clobbered by winter storms and cold weather. We narrowly made it to Tahoe for some family fun in the snow. My four year old went skiing for the first time and loved it! We had fun playing in the snow making snow balls, snowmen and snow angels:)

How is 2010 treating all of you? After some great quality time over the holidays, I must admit it's nice to have the kids back in school, the hubby back at work and more time to get on with my routine again. Hi Moms,
Hopefully all of you had a fabulous New Year's Eve. We had a nice family dinner, then my hubby and I put the kids to bed early and popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate. It's a rare occasion when I stay up past midnight! Have all of you made your list of resolutions for 2010? Top of my list are spending more time with family, traveling more and cleaning out all the closets! :)

Hi Moms,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and spent some nice quality time with your families. Our tradition is to go into the city for Christmas Eve dinner, church and then go home and put cookies out for Santa's arrival! These years are so precious when the kids still believe in Santa and get excited for his visit. Stella and Oscar even heard Santa and his reindeer on our roof:)

How are all of you dealing with the holiday madness? It’s funny how the holidays are supposed to be about cheer and bringing people together, but at times they can make us a little crazy too! I hope you get a chance to spend some quality time with your families and reflect on the good things in life over the next week. Hi Moms,
Hope you are all staying warm in this freezing weather. It looks like the whole country got hit with the cold. We even had snow in some parts of the San Francisco Bay Area! Last week, I took Oscar to see The Velveteen Rabbit and he loved it. I took Stella to a Teddy Bear Tea on Saturday with some of her friends -- so cute:) I love doing all the fun holiday activities with the kids - probably more than they do. LOL.

Holiday season is upon us, and the decorations are up! DH and I took the kids to get our tree this weekend and, afterwards, did a little wine tasting at Iron Horse in Sebastopol, CA and then on to dinner at a historic hotel in Occidental.

How are all of you surviving flu season? Last week my boy’s school called saying he was complaining of a sore throat and fever. At first I thought he just didn’t feel like being in school, but sure enough, the poor little guy came down with the flu, and my symptoms followed shortly after. Dear Moms,
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I sure did - I hung out with friends and family and enjoyed the great weather the Bay Area is having. My hubby played golf, I had a girls night out on Sat. and we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. I can’t believe Halloween is just around the corner. I’ve seen so many cute costume ideas this year.
