How are all of you surviving flu season? Last week my boy’s school called saying he was complaining of a sore throat and fever. At first I thought he just didn’t feel like being in school, but sure enough, the poor little guy came down with the flu, and my symptoms followed shortly after. The timing couldn’t have been worse, as I was about to head to New York with my husband for a business trip mixed with a little fun time. Dear Moms,
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I sure did - I hung out with friends and family and enjoyed the great weather the Bay Area is having. My hubby played golf, I had a girls night out on Sat. and we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. I can’t believe Halloween is just around the corner. I’ve seen so many cute costume ideas this year. My kiddos decided what they wanted to be six months ago! Oscar is going as Batman and Stella will be Minnie Mouse:) Too cute!

Believe it or not, this week TwitterMoms celebrates its first anniversary!
On September 2, 2008, I inadvertently pushed a button that opened TwitterMoms.com to the public. It began as an effort to create a directory aimed at making it easier for moms to find each other on Twitter. I had found so may interesting women on Twitter. There were so many fresh voices out there. The goal with the site was simply to make it easier for moms to find each other. It was that simple.

I'm now officially back from two glorious weeks in the midwest. DH and I reconnected with old a host of friends at our 20th high school reunion, and a group of us headed north to spend a week on a beautiful lake in the northern part of the state.
