What is RAMBO?
The RAMBO (Reach A Mom Blogger Online) alerts are newswire style emails sent automatically to mom bloggers who are members of TwitterMoms and have a blog url listed on their profile page. You do not have to sign up to be included, as long as you have a blog url listed on your profile page you will receive the alerts. If you do not want to receive the alerts, you can opt out by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email alerts.
What's the Purpose of the RAMBO Alerts?
TwitterMoms created the RAMBO alerts to connect mom bloggers with advertisers, marketers and the press. I wanted to create a service for you, the mom blogger, that would give you opportunities to monetize your blog, provide different content and offer your readers contests and giveaways.
Is There A Fee For the RAMBO Alerts?
There is no fee to receive the alerts. There is fee of $550 for listing an opportunity that will be distributed to the 8500+ mom bloggers. The fee ensures that people who want to reach you are serious. We want to bring QUALITY opportunities to you, not blast you with spam.
How Do I Submit A Request for the RAMBO Alerts?
If you would like to submit an opportunity to the mom bloggers via the RAMBO alerts, please email me at megan@twittermoms.com and I will review your request. In addition, please go to http://www.twittermoms.com/classifieds and click the PayPal button to submit a payment. You can then e-mail me your request.
What is acceptable for a marketer to put in a RAMBO Alert?
Your post can be a maximum of 150 words. Currently, we are only accepting third-party requests for moms to conduct product reviews. Sorry, but we can't accept contests, Twitter parties, or other similar types of requests unless they're a part of a broader TwitterMoms program. This is to ensure the highest quality experience for both marketers and our community of moms.
What Makes A Good Request?
The purpose of the requests are to offer mom bloggers something worth blogging about, and might include an incentive to participate. Offering giveaways for the blog readers is also a good idea.
