Your blog is one of many new ones I've come to know through twitter moms. You've got some great content, and your blog looks nice, but I won't be returning. Here's why:
1) Your blog is hard to read. I have a hard time with light-colored text on a dark background. I think it looks really cool, but it's hard for me to read.
2) Your blog feeds only show the title and/or one or two sentences of the post. When this is all I see in my reader, I remove that blog. I never click through if it's a headline only, and if there's a tease line, it has to be a really, really, (did I say really?) good tease to get me to click to the blog.
3) Your posts are really, really long, and just ramble. I'm interested in hearing your point, and will click away if it takes too long to get there.
4) It's difficult to navigate your blog. If I leave a comment, I might want to go back to the original post and Stumble it. If it's difficult to return to the original post, or even the main page, from the "thanks for commenting" page, I'll give up. I'm short on time, and I won't work too hard just to give you a Stumble.
5) You're swearing. My kids are around, and they can read. If I see one curse word on your blog or tweet, I remove you from my list. One is all it takes. I have zero-tolerance on that.
I know that this is your blog and you can handle it however you want, but I didn't want to leave without explaining why I won't be returning to your blog, even though you have a great concept and I'm interested in your topic.
