On being the new CMO for Babyspot.com

If you know me from twitter then you might already know I'm the new Chief Mom Officer at Babyspot.com

I am loving my job way too much! I came home to work as a freelance writer and never pictured myself as an Executive Officer with such an amazing company so I feel like when I wake up in the morning I have to pinch myself. Luckily, Peanut, (our 2yo) is happy to oblige me on the pinching.

In the past three years (come December 15th) I've started my own blogs, have written for AOL, Demand Studios, and now an Ask.com owned site... I have been pretty pleased with how far I've come and constantly surprised at how things have grown and changed.

Now though with Babyspot.com, I get to apply all the skills I've gained commuting, writing, building great social networking sites like clubmom and cafemom, my role as CSR for an ecommerce company all into one and put it to use building babyspot's community.

Soon I will have my own Babyspot.com blog and I'm also going to be doing regular live Streaming videos that will feature special guests, informational topics and discussions, and even answering babyspot members and parents questions.

I didn't think this was possible two and a half years ago. I really didn't.
