Attracting New Clients When You Start A Consulting Business Using Mini-Courses

As you start a consulting business and you are looking to attract new clients, one way you can do this is through a mini-course. As a consultant you are already an expert in your field. Therefore, you can design a course centered around your area of expertise. The course can be offered on your website as a free gift to subscribers. You deliver the course to your website visitors by having them sign up using an autoresponder application.

After selecting a topic of interest, divide the topic up into several sub-topics. Give anyone that visits your consulting website a 5 or 7 day course where you cover each sub-topic on each day of the course. Day 1 should consist of an introductory message letting the reader know what will come next. The key is to build interest, clearly communicate your points, and offer information of value so that the reader feels that he or she is getting quality actionable information.

When you start a consulting business and launch it with a mini-course, you need to include the number of that lesson, the lesson topic title, and information about your company. Also, promote the lesson for the next day at the end.

The key to creating a good mini-course is to provide valuable information and build curiosity. If you fail to do this, the reader will unsubscribe and will not read your mini course the next day.

As for how to create the mini-course, there are several ways you can create them. You can use a word processing application or text editor application to type up and store each lesson in the series. After creating the course, make sure you proofread it for any errors and then you want to load it up into your autoresponder. You are done! Your mini-course is now fully loaded into your autoresponder and is ready to be emailed out. Each day a potential client receives the course, you create value in their minds regarding your topic of expertise. When they need help in that area, they are going to want to work with you, and that is how you attract clients as you start a consulting business.
