When you work with Ameriplan you are an independent contractor so it's not a job, it's not working for someone else and having a boss stand over you all the time. Training

I would like to touch very quickly on the amazing training we have. First off there is No hard selling, No telemarketing and No cold calling involved which was VERY important to me. We offer Comprehensive and Interactive training through a training website which literally walks you step by step through all of your initial training. Then, we also have a national corporate conference call line. We have live training calls every day of the week and team meetings two to three times per week so you can just call in and participate in any of those that you would like to! Our training calls are live, open, interactive and are lead by other members of our team. All of our training is set up to go at your own pace so it doesn't matter if you are working 10 hours per week or 40 hours per week.

Then the best part is when you work with Ameriplan you are part of a team. You would have a team trainer as well as all the other members of your team so you are never alone. We have a message board where you can go and ask questions, talk to other team members and also there is a non-business chat room where you can just get to know one another. We get better training and team support working from home with Ameriplan than most companies offer working outside the home.

The Positions – Save Money or Make Money

With Ameriplan we do one of two things, we either help people save money or we help people make money. We either sign people up on the Benefit Plans so they can save up to 80% and more on all their medical needs or we help people make money by also working from home with Ameriplan.

The first position involves Ameriplan's affordable medical plans. The dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic plans are $19.95 a month for an entire household and the medical plans range from $29.95 to $59.95 per month depending on the plan that is chosen. The best part is no one can be turned down not even due to age or a current existing condition.

As a Plan Specialist we market the plans to people who want to save money on their health benefits. Ameriplan trains us 100% on how to do this online or in your community. People answer our ad campaigns by either calling us, emailing us or by visiting our websites and registering for more information. We then contact these people back and we talk to them for a few minutes. We explain the plan and answer their questions and if then they want the plans we do their application with them and get it submitted over to corporate.

The nice thing is that AmeriPlan takes over from there. We have a HUGE broker support center at corporate. They process the applications, they handle all the paper work, they issue and send out the benefits cards and provider booklets, also they field all our customers' calls and they collect payment from our customers on a monthly basis as well. We don't have to handle any of that, which I love!

The second position is as a Recruiter. There are hundreds of thousands of people who want to work from home. They too answer our ad campaigns by going to our websites and requesting an interview or additional information. At that point, their contact information comes straight over to us via email. We then will give them a quick call and we go over the details about working with the company. We will answer their questions and if they are someone we would like to have come and work with us we will do their application and get them started with their training. Of course, when recruiting, we are responsible for weaning out the people who are not serious and might be in it for the wrong reasons.

When you work with Ameriplan you have the flexibility to work either side of these positions or both of them. Some people love the benefits side while others love the recruiting side. We train you on both and you actually get to spend your time doing what you like best.

Compensation

Ameriplan pays us a commission for every application we submit. We get anywhere from $6 - $18 for a medical plan application and we get $15 for signing up someone new to work with the company. This is what you get for just typing up their application and submitting it to our corporate office.

Commission checks are mailed Daily

BUT HERE IS THE BEST PART! And here is why we have hundreds and hundreds of people who make over $100,000 a year and many who make over $200,000, $300,000 a year and more! Once you submit the application you make that commission but you will also continue to make that same commission again and again. MONTH AFTER MONTH, YEAR AFTER YEAR! As long as the account stays active you make that residual income!

You will also begin to receive management overrides from 15-33% when you reach your second promotion within the company.

Year one if you sign up 200 people, you get paid on 200 people. Year two if you sign up 200 people you get paid on 400 people. Year three, 600 people. And so on; so you can really begin to see the power of residual income. After 18 months with the company, the average broker sees an increase of about $20,000 a year, every year, in their income all due to the residual income.

We do have an option of how you can get paid. Let's say you sign up one person on the family medical plan. The commission on that is $18. You can either get paid the $18 initially and then $18 each month they are on the plan OR you can be on advanced pay which means you would get $107 right away (3-5 days) which is 6 months advanced commissions and then you would get nothing for that person for 6 months. Then starting on the 7th month you would start getting $18 each month for that person for as long as they are on the plan.. The average person stays on our plan for 8 years. So with advanced pay people make on average $300-$1500 or more their first month depending on the number of hours they put in.

Each year your income increases due to the residuals. Some of my team members for example like Becky Blacka from Florida, who is a stay at home mom and who makes over $100,000 a year after 3 years with the company. Also Kelly Fuller, from Pennsylvania makes over $110,000 a year after 4 years with Ameriplan. Wendy Hiemenz from Texas is a stay at home mom with 5 children that she home schools. She retired her husband and she is making over $250,000 a year residually. She has been with the company for 4 years. Then of course there is Janie Jones who is on our team as well, she retired her husband Michael several years ago.. She is now making over $400,000 a year after four and a half years with the company. Janie works diligently full time. These are not just random people in the company that I am mentioning. These are all people on OUR team that you would be working with directly.

Start Your Ameriplan Business At Home

Since we are Independent Contractors we get a HUGE tax deduction. We get to write off a portion of our mortgage or rent, our electric, phone, computer, internet, gas and more. Any overhead expenses like paper, pens, ink, or business cards are also a write off. On average people working with Ameriplan see a $5,000 increase in their tax return checks each April due to all the extra write offs they get for being a small business owner.

As like with any business, there is the cost of overhead -- the cost of day-to-day operations and Ameriplan does actually cover much of the overhead expenses for us. Thanks to them we only have to cover a small portion of our overhead. Let me tell you what all is included in that overhead:

• We get a Back-Office website. This is where we enter all of our applications, send emails, check on our team members and our paychecks, etc. Basically we run the business from this website.
• E-Kit of downloadable brochures, applications and other marketing supplies.
• Also you get several e-commerce websites of your own completely up and operational with your own URL to advertise your business. Domain name, hosting, web site design and maintenance is all included there.
• Also the unlimited training through our training website, the conference call lines, training materials and any special training classes are all included.
• The huge broker support center that processes all the applications for us, processes payments and also fields all of our customers' calls. Those people get paid too, that's part of the overhead.
• As brokers with the company we don't keep any inventory in our homes so AmeriPlan mails the new broker packages and the membership packages with their provider books and benefit card. They do that for us and cover all of the shipping costs as well.
• Also your entire family receives the dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits that you get working with the company from day one.
• You’ll receive a AD&D Policy that starts at $2500 and increases to a maximum of $1,000,000 as your earnings increase.
• And then of course I will be your personal mentor and help you build your business. I make sure all of your questions are answered and make sure that you have all of the tools you need to be successful with your new business.

The normal cost to cover all of this would surely amount to over $700 a month but since Ameriplan is such a large company they are able to cover most of it for us, and they do so graciously. I actually thank them every day for doing it so I don't have to pay for all those things! We only have to cover $50 a month in our portion of our overhead costs, Ameriplan PAYS THE REST! Anyone who has ever owned their own business or run a business from home knows that fifty dollars a month in overhead is amazingly low!

Here are the top questions I am usually asked by someone interested in joining Ameriplan®.

Q) Once I get started, how much help will I receive?

A) I'll be your personal mentor and will help you every step of the way, as much or as little as you would like. I recognize that everyone is different so you are able to dictate how much training we do together. We also have great team support with live and recorded conference calls you can attend, an interactive training website, etc. You’ll have all the training, resources and support available to you to be successful but of course it’s up to you to use it and the key is to be coachable and trainable.

Q) Do I require a separate second telephone line when working from home with your company?

A) No. A professional outgoing message is nice. Example: Hi. You've reached the yourname household. No one is available to take your call. Please leave your name, number, and a brief message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. If this is in regards to Ameriplan® benefits or becoming a broker with Ameriplan®, yourname will contact you back as soon as possible. Thank you. Actually, this is a true testimony that you do work from your home.

Q) Is this a year-long contract, or can I quit any time?

A) Your brokership is month by month. You can quit at any time. You can either write a letter, email, or fax Ameriplan® that you want to quit.

Q) Can I 'test it out' before I join?

A) You can attend every single training call we have before you join. We want to work with you long term and if you require more knowledge before you start it's all there.

Q) I don’t have sales experience and don’t like “selling”. Can I still be successful?

A) Absolutely! Can you share information with people? We are not high pressure sales people. It’s nothing like that. I don’t have sales experience. My background is primarily in Human Resource Management and our team members come from a variety of backgrounds/experience. In fact, most successful people in our business don’t have a sales background. While we do offer a service, there is no hard-selling. It’s really just getting the information out there in the ways that you like, educating people who have requested information about the programs and helping them with the information they need to make the best decision for themselves if one of our programs is right for them.

On the recruitment side, our job is to provide people with information so they can make an informed decision for themselves if this company is a good fit for them and to determine if they’re a good fit for the company and team. We’re looking to help people who are ready and serious about making a positive change in their lives not trying to convince those that aren’t.

Q) Am I allowed to recruit any of my family as ibos?

A) Sure. You can recruit them as members for the benefit plans as well.

Q) Why do I have to pay to work for Ameriplan®?

A) You should never pay someone to work for them. If you're talking about a "job" over the internet you should never pay anyone - otherwise it is a scam. A "business" is different than a "job" on the internet. I can't think of any home-based business that does not have operating costs and ours is amazingly low. We receive e-commerce websites, back office/support website that runs our business for us, training, benefits for our household, corporate office support (credit card processing, bookkeeping, payroll, Legal Team, IT Dept, Member and IBO Services, etc.).

Also, we are not paid on a W2 form because we are not employees. We’re paid on the 1099 form as an independent contractor. The 1099 form allows us to save a lot of money on our taxes through itemizing our business expenses.

Also, you actually own the business. You can will it to your family or sell it if you wish. It's something that you actually own. And we work when and how we want.

I think of it this way: If you wanted to open up a bakery in your town you'd have certain costs associated with that business. You'd have no 'name' established for yourself, you'd have to probably use some sort of software to maintain your 'backoffice' so you can keep track of employees, and you might even buy server space so you can host a website for your business plus there’s employees, inventory, lease, utilities, etc, etc. All these expenses add up. If you wanted to open up a McDonalds (or some other franchise that has a 'name' associated with it) you'd pay thousands of dollars in franchise fees a year. With Ameriplan® you get your websites, training, a paperless office because Ameriplan® takes care of all of that for you and the day you start your business it is 17 years old, registered with the Direct Sellers Association, US Chamber of Commerce, the American Association of Dental Plans, Consumer Health Alliance, Dun & Bradstreet Listed and has a 'name' for itself. All of this is handled for you for just $50 a month which is truly amazing. So, it’s really like owning your own franchise but without the cost and all the headaches. Actually, most people who start with our company aren’t looking to start their own business but they soon find out how much better it is than just another job (flexibility to work when/how you want, the residual (repeat) income, etc.) and go on to exceeding their expectations.

Q) How do you advertise?

A) We cover this in our training. It all depends on how you want to advertise. There are literally hundreds of ways to do this and we train you and then you get to spend your time doing the things that you like and that work for you. You can do it locally or on a national level. I do mine on a national level using the internet as well as locally. Free lead resources are also available to you.

Q) How are the $50/monthly overhead fees paid?

A) You can either have the fee drafted from a credit/debit card or from a checking/savings account. Once you start receiving paychecks, Ameriplan® will deduct the fee from your paycheck and you'll never see the fee again. Ameriplan® drafts the fee on either the 3rd or the 18th of every month depending upon when you enroll. If you enroll the 4th of the month through the 18th of the same month, the first draft is on the 18th of the following month. If you enroll the 19th of a month through the 3rd of the following month, the first draft is on the 3rd of the month following that.

Example: IBO “Mary’s” application is processed on March 10, 2009. Her first draft will be on April 18, 2009.
Example: Member “John’s” application is processed on March 25, 2009. His initial draft will be on May 3, 2009.

Q) I'm not very good with a computer. How do I setup my websites?

A) It's very straight forward. The websites are already designed. You only have to supply a name for your website. I can help you with the computer no problem.

Q) Are there quotas? What if I want to go on vacation for a month?

A) It's your business and YOU are the boss. There are no quotas so you can take a nice long vacation without worry. Actually this is YOUR business. It's willable when you pass away. It's nice to think that if your family is relying on your income and (God forbid) something happens, then they will still get that income. This is also a great retirement program.

Q) Are there costs to advertising?

A) There can be but only if you choose. We teach you how to do free advertising and inexpensive advertising. I encourage all my new team members not to spend money until they’re making money and their business can pay for it. I started out with $0 for my budget each month for advertising and now, since my business is paying for it, I pay for some advertising but still it’s very minimal since all my advertising is still free or very low cost.

Q) What if I enroll someone and they quit?

A) If they have X number of brokers that they enrolled then they are now yours. These people just roll up to you. As far as the residual income for your brokers that quit, you stop earning the $15.00 a month for them. You do earn the residual income for all brokers that roll up.

Q) What is the average amount of money a person earns while working about 10 hrs a week?

A) It always varies. If you consistently do 10 hours a week and it's really work (i.e. making contacts talking about Ameriplan® and enrolling people) our part time brokers on advanced pay earn about $500-$900 a month. This increases as you build your residual pay.

Q) Does the work come consistently or is it just here and there and you are lucky if you get enough work to get paid?

A) If you are consistently advertising you will consistently have people to talk to.

Q) What exactly do you do with this company?

A) People will be contacting you requesting information about either the programs or the business. We send out emails to these people, we call them providing them information so they can do their research (compare prices, plans, the company, etc.) and answering their questions, we go online and we enroll them. Ameriplan® services the customers for us. For the brokers we enroll we make sure they are aware of all the training, resources and support and we answer their questions for them.

Q) What are the requirements to get started?

A: You have to be coachable and trainable and I'm looking for self-motivated individuals who can work a good 10 hours a week. You have to call and listen to the "New Broker" training call that is about an hour long - you do this from your home.

A: You will need internet connection and long distance. When you enroll you'll be expected to pay for your first month broker overhead of $50.00.

Q) What is the Trainer Option Program (TOP)?

A: The Trainer Optional Program (TOP) is a coded bonus pool. There is a one-time setup fee of $400 for this program. It is optional. You receive more supplies and can participate in our bonus pools. If you are considering this program, please ask me about it so I can ensure you completely understand the program before making your decision. The bonus money in our bonus pool ranges from $50-$324. So, to sign up as a Trainer, it’s $450 (first month’s overhead and $400 set-up fee). With this option, the $50.00 overhead will be waived for 3 months and you’ll receive $225 in gift certificate money to spend at our corporate store and a $500 gas certificate.

You can join the Trainer Option Program (TOP) at any time; however, if it’s after your first 72 hours of becoming an IBO, you’ll only receive $150 in gift certificate money to spend at our corporate store plus a $500 Gas Certificate and your $50 overhead will NOT be waived for 3 months.
Q) I have been looking for a job I could do from home since I have a 3 month old and would love to stay home with her. Any information you could give me would be appreciated.

A) We have a lot of stay-at-home moms on this team. When the baby is napping you could easily call 5 people for 1 minute each and send out a couple of emails. Total time would be 20 minutes maybe. Then during the day you can call the people you've already sent emails too. The nice thing with this company is that you do not need to set aside a huge block of time - 20 minutes here, 10 minutes there, etc ... really does pay off well.

Q) Besides the $50/monthly broker fee, are there any other costs?

A) Any other costs are optional. We do get 3 marketing websites for free. There's another that is exclusive to our team. Mine is http://www.freedomathometeam.com/pschnarr and it also comes with an email communication system. AFTER a 90 day free trial period, IF you choose to keep it, it’s $8.95/month. Later you may wish to have 1 or 2 domain names especially if you do local off-line marketing and if so, they’re normally $8-13 per year. You may have minimal advertising costs if you choose (see above). Again, I encourage all my new team members not to spend money until they’re making money. Then once your business is supporting itself, you’ll want to reinvest a little back into your business to help it grow. I started out with $0 for my budget each month for advertising and now, since my business is paying for it, I pay for some advertising but still it’s very minimal since all my advertising is still free or very low cost.

Q) Are there any guarantees?

A) We cannot guarantee that you will be successful because it all depends on you. You will have all the tools, resources and support you’ll need but it’s up to you to use them. Everyone who consistently works their business 10 or more hours a week, are coachable and trainable and have a strong reason why they want it to work, are successful.

Q) I took a look at the providers in my area. Since there are not many providers here, would I still be able to do this business? (http://providersearch.ameriplanusa.com)

A) We do add providers to our network all the time. There are a lot of remote areas with providers. However, if there are not many providers in your area perhaps a "national business" using the internet would work better for the memberships. Some ibos advertise on-line exclusively since their town has a limited provider base or even in cases where they DO have a lot of providers but choose to work exclusively online. We also have 2 new programs coming out soon that will be available everywhere.

Furthermore, even if there are no providers in your immediate area, this doesn’t necessarily mean people wouldn’t benefit from the programs. For example, our hospital advocacy program would apply to ANY hospital that is not a VA hospital and maybe a primary care physician isn’t available but they could still save up to 87% on their ancillary (physical therapy, laboratory procedures, imaging centers, etc.) plus have access to a registered nurse 24/7 via our Nurse Line. So, it’s really just a matter of learning about the programs to understand the options available to people and all this is covered in our training.

Q) I'm ready to get started. Now what?

Q) Once I enroll what happens?

A) Your application will be sent to our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas for processing.
