With the temperatures soaring and summer in full swing now, the call for summer dresses is here. What makes a dress so fabulous is that it’s easy dressing. You don’t have to put much thought into what to pair with what and the best part is that summer dresses are carefree and cool, and can take you from day to night. I love how feminine they make you feel. Let’s take a peek at just a few fab finds.

The Lucky Brand Jeans Printed Batik Maxi, $129, is a floor length option with a pretty pattern and a low neckline, just pair with sandals and you will be looking fabulous.

The Tube Maxi Dress, $29, by Old Navy is a strapless option that is floor length. I think any woman would feel like a goddess wearing this dress.

The Fever Bead Maxi dress, $88, has a few extra details with the faux marble stone detail and empire waist. This option is almost like a piece of art work with the stained glassed pattern. Why not be a walking piece of art!

The Knit Empire Waist Dress, $39.50 by Ann Taylor Loft is a short option for those that may not want a floor length dress. This dress would look great with just about any sandals and is simple and carefree and can even double as a bathing suit cover up.

The Knot Front Tube Dress, $69, by Express is another option for those that do not want a floor length dress, with this dress you will bare a lot of shoulder and will be sure to turn some heads.

Summertime is a time to be carefree and a simple dress takes the stress out of dressing, shouldn’t our summer be carefree?

Lea I have the same problem, now I haven't tried these but check them out Bring it up, they are enhancers that give you some lift. I actually have good luck w/ a strapless bra from Victoria Secret, it has a wire underneath. I hope that helps!

I have been thinking dresses for weeks now, and just saw your post - funny! I'm a little leery of strapless (even though I love the look), because of my southern-traveling, nearly 40-year-old mommy boobs... and the strapless bras I remember from long ago didn't really do the trick. Any tips?

OMG, I just bought the tube dress from a store in NYC and it cost so much more than the Old Navy dress - but I love it so much I may buy the one from Old Navy now!

Thanks for all the great information.
