Facebook is a great way to connect with and find friends, some of whom you wouldn’t have been able to find without it. We use it pretty regularly, but there are some things that we’re concerned about when it comes to our families.
This is from Facebook’s Terms of Service:
“By posting User Content to any part of the Site, you automatically grant… to the Company an irrevocable… license to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display… and distribute such User Content for any purpose… on or in connection with the Site or the promotion thereof…..”

With families so geographically dispersed, photo and video sharing has become a great way to keep everyone close. Privacy and security, though, are of the utmost importance for parents when sharing information about their children online. Unfortunately, according to Facebook’s terms of service, they have the right to use the photos and videos that you post about your children on their site, compromising your privacy.
This is something that Wee Web would never do. When you post on Wee Web, you wholly own the content and can take it whenever you want; we will never use or copy your content for any purposes. Facebook definitely serves a purpose, but, when it comes to family sharing, Wee Web is the site that addresses parents’ concerns.
