twitter moms: the influential moms network

Hey ladies,

I was shocked to read this news as it's seemingly been held hush-hush "don't panic". Apparently Thanksgiving week it was sent to the AP that Enfamil contained cyanuric acid, Nestle and Similac contained melamine.

Here is one article on it. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/11/26/health/main4635889.shtml

(Personally we've used Target's Gentlease and have been happy with that. When we tried the next step with our daughter she was ill so we stopped that.)

We use enfamil, we have to. He has a milk protein allergy. Hopefully he'll be ok. we don't know what to do.

I couldn't believe this quote: "They should not be changing the diet. If they've been feeding a particular product, they should continue to feed that product. That's in the best interest of the baby." That's horse crap! I don't care how much melamine is in it...little or not, my son ain't gettin' it. Thank you for sharing this we all need to be aware. We too used generic (Walmart's and Sam's) and we loved it.
