Getting started on Squidoo

Whether you love to share recipes, talk about being a mom, or want to get the word out about your blog or website, Squidoo is the place to do it. Creating a Squidoo lens is fun, easy and Free! The first thing you will need to do, is sign up. You can do that here.

I promise you that you will not receive a ton of unwanted emails or anything like that. Squidoo doesn't need to do that because they know that most people who join Squidoo can't get enough of it! They also know that there is an extremely supportive community to help those just beginning at squidoo as long as those who have been there a while.

So, sign up, and it is highly recommended that you at least startyour first lens, but you don't have to. Remember you can always come back and change anything you want about the lens, including the keywords. The only thing you can't change is the URL you choose. So, your URL may be "http: squidoo.com/Avon-products" That will always be the URL, but you can change the title to anything you want, such as "Avon January Specials".

I'm going to try to put in a screen-shot here of the quick builder that you will probably see when you start to build your lens.

As you can see, it is very simple to follow! Once you get that part done, your lens will go into WIP, which is a work in progress. You can add to it now, or it will be on your dashboard for when ever you are ready for it.
