Here is a quick and easy one skillet recipe. This recipe will get dinner on the table in 30 minutes or less and you'll only have one skillet, a lid, a wooden spoon, your knife, and cutting board to clean! Remember, always hand wash your knife to help keep it sharp.
Ingredients
1/2 Onion, medium dice
1 lb Ground Turkey
Pinch Kosher salt
Pinch Fresh ground pepper
10 oz Package frozen organic asparagus
4 oz Swiss cheese, preferably imported, grated
Directions
Add the ground turkey and stir quickly to prevent sticking. Continue stirring until turkey is cooked about 8 - 10 minutes. Then lay the asparagus on top of the turkey. Cover skillet with lid and let steam for 4 minutes or until the asparagus is hot but not mushy.
Plating
Put the turkey and onions in the center of the plate. Sprinkle with grated swiss cheese and surround with asparagus. Serve with a crusty bread.
