Kaylen's Write to Heal... helping moms deal with the loss of a child

Kaylen's Write to Heal was formed when my dear friend lost her 4 month old daughter to SIDS Jan 23, 2009. It was a painful time for us all but when my friend said, "today was the first time I went to the mail box and there wasn't a letter there."
Kaylen's Write To Heal was born the next morning in an attempt to find as many people as I could to send cards and letters to my friend. Since then, we've sent cards to 5 other moms.

It's quick and simple. Enter your name and email. When we hear of a mom that's lost a child, we'll pass her address along to you and you send out at least one card and/or letter.

We are holding a telethon/fundraiser Feb 21-23 in honor of the one month anniversary of Kaylen's passing. Our goal is to raise $5000 and have 500 names on the email list. We are asking folks to donate as little as $1. The money will go to help moms with the funeral cost as well as to provide grief counseling and other things.

We are also looking for sponsors. If you're interested in buying advertising on our site, email me for details and price ranges.

Please help us in helping moms in need. Burying a child is the worst pain any parent could go through. They shouldn't have to face it alone.
