Kim Jong Mom
My #2 son has a great personality. Not so much on book smarts, but here's hoping in the future all those important people in his life will say, wow, what a handsome guy, and SUCH a personality! Yeah, here's hopin'.
Recently at the dinner table, he was being obnoxious (I know, right?) and I said, "Well, y'all better be careful because you KNOW I can tell tons of people all this stuff."
#2: "Oh, are you going to put this in your [using air quotes] BUH-LOG mom?!? Ooohhh. I'm scared." Smarty pants. But, see? I win!
Then I said, "Um, YEAAAAAAAAAH!" Where does he think I get this stuff? You know I can't make this up. That whole 'truth is stranger than fiction' thing. So I said he better be careful, because anything he says or does can potentially end up for MILLIONS of my blog readers to enjoy.
"Gosh, you're so mean, Mom," he said. "You're like ... Kim Jong Mom!" Honestly, you could have knocked me over with a history book. Not only was it a great comeback, but he knows who Kim Jong-Il is. Go figure.
