Mom's Night In -Shop With Us Showcase
This Sunday I'm hosting a fun MNI event featuring moms who run their own small business. The invite reads as follows:
Hey ladies, get your holiday shopping done while having fun! Local small business moms will be showing their wares at a mini craft and small business fair right here in my home. We will have jewelry, hats, adult toys, Pampered Chef, Avon, even tutus! And more! Shoppers should bring a good appetite and their checkbooks! You can go around to each table to see what everyone has to offer. And even if you don't purchase anything, come on out and have a fun time with the gals. Feel free to bring your friends to come shop. We're not going to have the kids with us so let's get decked out and have some fun. Best dressed wins a prize!
I'm pretty excited about it. It should be a blast and afterward we're doing karaoke!
My birthday was Saturday. Had a great time. We went to dinner with all of my family and then afterward Edward took Jonas home and I went out with my sister and JJ for a little GNO of singing and playing pool. The dj kept announcing that it was my birthday so guys kept buying us shots, not just for me but for all three of us. We still got it! LOL
Sunday started off as a nice day. We decided to go to McAllister park so my husb could ride the jumps as Jonas and I watched. We were barely there 20 minutes when after Ed's 3rd run he walks over to us and says 'We need to go to the hospital' as he shows me a hole in his right wrist. A nice gash down to the tendons and nerve. Luckily he missed the vein or it would have been hella worse. Apparently after he rode passed us and was a few jumps out of view, he lost control so he decided to toss his bike so he could land safely. It was a good plan except for the tree stump. No one even realized he'd crashed because he didn't yell out or curse or anything. He wasn't even dusty from hitting the ground, that's why we were all surprised when he came walking up holding his arm.
So family fun day ended up with a trip to the emergency room and 8 stitches.
