When we started on the process of getting Owen enrolled in pre-school, my biggest concern was placement in a "mainstream" classroom versus a special needs classroom. Remember this is a whole new learning curve for us. I was just starting to get the hang of getting my oldest off to kindergarten and navigating the whole PTA, classroom mommy, field trip guide and conferences. Now I was dealing with a much more complex system.
