Online Moms helping others...
With this my first venture into twittermom blogdom, I wanted to share something I am really happy to be a part of.
About 6 weeks ago my rather new website was approached by a wonderful blogger and fellow twittermom to participate in an online baby shower. My initial reaction was purely from a marketing perspective, to get more eyes on our site. BUT after reading about the winner of the baby shower I am totally blessed to be able to be one of the sponsors providing items for this mom and her family.

I am so honored to be able to help a mom who, like myself, has suffered the loss of a child. I hope our company's contribution (and the contributions of all the other sponsors) can help this deserving mom and her family make it through the tragic loss of a child and the miracle of welcoming a new child in such a short time.

Aw.
I too am completely floored and honored by this event. I really had a heart to help a family who needs it but I never imagined I would hear such a story. There were many stories that moved me to tears as I could not wrap my mind around what they're life may be like.
I think this event helped to show the humanity of companies like yours. So many sponsors from this event have found themselves a little changed by their involvement. I think this is beautiful.
Thanks for being a part of a company that is willing to change a life. I know your generosity has changed mine for good.
