Thanksgiving Cleaning and Prepping

I know I need to clean my house and do more prep for the Thanksgiving meal at my house. For some reason though I just can't get it together. The Fly Lady isn't even helping me this week! My house is cold, cold, cold. We have to light our furnace and drag out the fan to blow the heat around to warm up our house before we get guests.

I wasn't planning on hosting Thanksgiving this year but some how my husband has agreed to let his uncle host Thanksgiving at our house. Why? Because our house is bigger than his apartment. What does that mean to use someone else's house to host a party? Well lets see, I get to clean our house before and after the party. I get to do dishes. I get to make the "big items" such as the turkey, ham, and a few other things. Not that I mind cooking, I love cooking and that part I'm looking forward to.

On the other hand, I don't have to travel anywhere for this holiday...
