While You're Sleeping

Hello....My name is DeLois and I'm kinda new to this blogging thing. My sister pulled me into this..I read your blog and it's very, very good. I know you'll get what you want. Just hang in there. While you're sleeping in you warm and cozy bed, I'm working in the Operating Room...I've only been in this department for a year, and it has open my eyes to a whole new world of living.

We have our good nights and bad nights. Our ears stick up when we hear the helicopter, ambulance, someone opens the door to the breakroom. even when the phone rings. LIfe is so short and we take it for granted. Well, not me...not anymore. While you're sleeping, I'm walking on pins and needles. I had to get use to it, because it was a whole new world to me... REAL REALITY. You can see things in the movies or on tv, but in real life..it's a trip.

The good thing is I like doing what I'm doing. It has it good side and bad side. The people I work with are real supportive and funny. That makes the night goes by fast. If we're not busy, we have one person that always come prepared with dvd's for us. Another supply the popcorn, soda, and so on. We sit and watch the movie and have a great time.

Time to go home at 6:30 am. I come home, talk to George, fix his breakfast and fall asleep with my laptop in my lap....Then at 10:00 pm it starts all over again. That's why we're known as the night people. We sleep during the day, and up at night....Our AM is our PM and our PM is our AM....but it's all good, and so are we.
